You’ve never seen jade like this before. Jade in North America does not compare in beauty, size, or quality to the jade in Asia. After all.. the jade mines are located in Burma, China, and other parts of Asia.
I learned that there are all colors of jade: Imperial jade, green, lavender, yellow, white, black, red. All beautiful and unique.
We were fortunate enough to tour Orchid Jade Factory at the steps of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
I splurged. I spent more in jade than on my flight and tour combined. Let me tell you… it was well worth it. Being a slightly suspicious traveler, I brought the jewelry pieces to a local jeweler in Texas. They were stunned. In disbelief and commented on the quality and phenomenal craftsmanship, even valuing the pendant I bought at 4x the amount I paid.
The craftsmanship and detail is absolutely stunning.

Whoever is receiving the black jade Ferraris as a gift made a rather jealous woman out of me!
All of the employees and owner were incredibly friendly. They were helpful in ensuring you found the right jade piece, not pushy, and incredibly accommodating. I even received a jade gift from them for spending so much! Every piece I purchased was sized within the same day. I was so hooked on jade that Ragha and I returned for more the very next day!
